It has never been easier to create a perfectly competent 800-word article about almost anything.
That is not necessarily good news.
The internet is filling up with content that is well written, nicely structured and says almost nothing you couldn’t get somewhere else.
AI has made the production bit much easier. The interesting bit is now having something worth producing.
A real photograph helps. A real example helps. A price, result, opinion, mistake or detail from actually doing the work helps.
Google’s current guidance is pointing in much the same direction: useful, original, non-commodity content.
So AI can absolutely help make content.
It just can’t manufacture the experience that makes the content interesting in the first place.
