Your Old Content Might Be Worth More Than Your New Content

Good existing content can often be refreshed, reformatted and redistributed more effectively than constantly creating something new.

There’s a lot of pressure in marketing to keep making new things.

Another article. Another video. Another campaign.

Meanwhile, some of the best material a business has already produced is sitting three years down the website where almost nobody sees it.

AI makes that easier to fix. A useful old article can become a shorter post, an email, a sales follow-up, a set of FAQs or the basis of a new video without simply copying and pasting it everywhere.

The trick is choosing something that was genuinely useful in the first place.

Good content usually has a much longer shelf life than its original publish date suggests.
